ABOUT ME
With 20 U.S. states and 18 countries down and a bucket list longer than a lifetime of travels, I wanted to create a place to capture and share my travel experiences to inspire others to go for it and take the trip. Whether it be an international adventure or exploring your own home town, any travel experience is truly what you make of it.
From being stranded in a red state of emergency in Monte Carlo, Monaco, to cutting over 100 people in an airport security line to make my flight, I've faced my fair share of challenges while far from home. Yet, I've also hiked the Swiss Alps, snorkeled off the coast of Mykonos and enjoyed French wine and crêpes under the Eiffel Tower -- and through it all, I wouldn't change a thing.
Book the flight. Plan the road trip. Hike the mountain. As Nike would say, Just Do It, and I promise you won't regret it. Feel free to explore my blogs to learn more about my travel experiences and get inspired to start planning your own, and don't forget to follow @kaitlyns_compass!
